This week in Sandstone, we experienced some changes in the room. We were very sad to say goodbye to Kaitlin who is now a teacher in Jasper room. But we are excited to welcome Sue into Sandstone as a full time teacher!
Yesterday we celebrated National Child Day! We were so excited to have Timbits for morning snack and there were so many blue activities set up for us to experience! We learned that children are very important and we use the colour blue to remember that.
To continue our focus on building, we have started to look at what different materials we can use to build. We introduced a new book at morning meeting called “Not A Box”. This book is about a bunny that uses his imagination to turn an ordinary box into a world of different adventures! Using this book as a resource will help us learn how we can use our imaginations to change the ordinary into extraordinary!
