This week in Sandstone room we have been continuing our exploration of transformation. We have another batch of caterpillars that are in their chrysalises and they should be coming out as butterflies sometime next week. We have switched our focus from plants and how they grow and change and now we are looking at ourselves. We have asked for baby pictures of the children to be sent in so we can look at how each of us grow and change as we get older. We have also looked at our hands and finger prints and noticed that we all have different sizes and patterns on our hands.
We would like to remind everyone that because the weather is nicer we are going to be going to the spray park to cool off. We will try to give at least a day’s notice as to when we are going to go but if there can be either a swim suit or a change of clothes that you don’t mind getting wet left in the locker along with a towel then we can go on a moment’s notice.
