We’ve exploring our self-help skills, washing our hands, and putting on and taking off our coats and toques when going outside. We’ve been focusing on our communication skills during our play. Some children have been taking part of dramatic play of going somewhere. Throughout this play children are able to interact with their peers and express themselves.
Quartz room children are encouraged to use their words not their bodies when they want something. We see this throughout the day when they ask for more milk at lunch, or want to play with the same toy as another child. These skills will continue to develop in Quartz room for many weeks.
