This week in Sandstone we have been busy, once again, exploring more of the community around us. On one of our daily walks we stopped to investigate what some construction workers were doing, they stopped and explain to us what they were working on. We have some construction hard hats in the room so we can dress up and act out what we had seen the construction workers doing. There are many paths around our building and we have been walking around it to see what is just outside our door. We have noticed many of the seniors looking and waving out their window at us and we decided to go in and visit. We were warmly welcomed with many different questions and look forward to visiting more often.
On Friday for Halloween we look forward to seeing all the costumes from home and we will be making some of our own costumes in the room that day as well. On Friday we will be doing a parade at the senior’s center with our costumes.
We have had nicer weather this week but the mornings (when we spend the most time outside) are still a bit chilly. A reminder that when we have mitts and hats we can stay out longer to learn and play!!!
Have a great weekend!
