This week, we have had a few confirmed cases of Hand, Foot and Mouth in the daycare.  We are taking care to make sure all of our toys and everything in the room is being cleaned in order to stop the spread.  Hand, Foot, and Mouth is a virus that usually begins with a fever and then turns into a rash on the hands, feet, and around the mouth.  Because it is a virus, hand foot and mouth needs to just run its course through children so we are doing all we can to ensure a healthy environment!

We have been noticing lately that the children in Shale Room are very excited about being outside so we are turning our attention over to the outdoors and nature!  We are spending our time right now focusing on birds.  We are learning all about different types of birds, birdhouses, bird nests, and what birds like to do outside.  We are very excited to continue learning about everything we find when we go outside!
